On the 29th of October 2023, Game On presented Hong Kong citizens with a Heart-to-Heart Charity sports day. They also had a partnership with One Sports and with numerous passionate volunteers. All of the volunteers that partnered with them had a prodigious time, and saw each child’s smile- unique and full of spirit. While a taste of tennis was given to the children, Game On and One Sports aim to raise public awareness about the importance of a sport lifestyle to congenital heart patients.
Remarkably, children flocked eagerly to the stalls, especially Beat the Legends and Sticker Me Please. Beat the legends was when you hit a target and win prizes using a tennis form while Sticker Me Please was making and decorating your pencil case. The children were dazzled to win prizes for their efforts, and the adults were impressed by the enthusiasm of the children. It was a great opportunity for Game On and One Sports to spread their message and help children understand the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.
This event was held from 10am to 5pm. Adults experienced the fun and challenged themselves by hitting a tennis shot on one leg and many others. Other people cheered them on, encouraging people to keep on going. The main aim of this event was to raise funds for the Children Heart’s Foundation and it was exceptionally successful. Over 1000 people came and everybody wanted to come again. Participating in Heart-to Heart children’s day was an unforgettable experience to everyone.
We would like to thank Children’s Heart’s Foundation to motivate us to give back to the community. We hope that we made a difference to children in need and made them beam many times. We would also like to thank everyone that has participated, without them, we would not have such a lively atmosphere. Game On and One sports are preparing for more of these enduring experiences, bringing more joy to the communities.
